Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

Public or private projects require an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) with the main objectives of determining the environmental feasibility of a project to make an informed decision, promoting transparency and public participation in the planning and decision-making process, and promoting the adequate prevention and management of potential environmental and social impacts associated with certain projects.

At EIG, we offer the development of the central technical document, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), which contains the project description, its environmental and social baseline, the legal framework for compliance, the analysis of alternatives, the identification and valuation of potential environmental and social impacts that the project (in all its stages) can cause in the short, medium and long term, as well as the provision of environmental management to address them (prevention, mitigation and compensation), which is materialized through the Environmental Management Plan within the EIA.
